Yevgeny Yablonovsky, baritone, is in his second season with Toronto Opera Repertoire. He has performed in Canada and Ukraine. In his Canadian debut, Yevgeny appeared as a soloist with CORO Giuseppe Verdi in Dubois The Seven Last Words of Christ. It was followed by engagements as a choir soloist at St. Andrews United Church and St. Annes Anglican Church. He is regularly featured at Torontos Russian and Ukrainian cultural festivals. In the realm of opera, Yevgeny has performed the title role in Eugene Onegin, Germont in La Traviata, Robert in Iolanta, and Yeletsky in The Queen of Spades. Last year with TOR, Yevgeny sang Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor.
