Sinéad holds a Bachelor of Arts from Queens University and an Artist Diploma in Voice from the Glenn Gould School of Music. In March 2003, Sinéad was the winner of the prestigious Louis Quilico Competition. Roles performed include: Donna Anna from Don Giovanni, Lucia from Lucia di Lammermoor, The Queen of the Night from The Magic Flute, Susanna from The Marriage of Figaro and Satirino from La Calisto. In the summer of 2003, she sang in the Canadian premiere of The Ballad of Baby Doe in the title role of Baby Doe with Summer Opera Lyric Theatre. Sinéad has performed in concert with the National Arts Orchestra in the National Arts Centre, in the Toronto Street Festival with Toronto Operetta Theatre, in The Boris Brott Summer Festival, and twice in a special concert with conductor Boris Brott organized to highlight the outstanding career of the famous Canadian tenor, Ermanno Mauro. Other accomplishments include: Soloist with the Oakville Symphony and the York Symphony with Maestro Roberto De Clara, and Soprano soloist in Mozarts Requiem Mass and Salieris Emperor Mass under the baton of Jurgen Petrenko. Sinéad had the audience spellbound in Mozarts Queen of the Night aria, and was just as luminous in voice and character in Bernsteins Glitter and Be Gay. ~ Leonard Turnevicius, The Hamilton Spectator.
