This production marks Chris Leas debut as a soloist (all ten bars worth!), a peak hes reached after starting just two years ago as an extra in La Boheme. Hailing from a family of entertainers (50s TV star Shirley Harmer is his own personal Auntie Mame), Chris ran the other way and pursued a career in architecture. Half a lifetime later, he unexpectedly finds himself a castle keeper at the University of Toronto. He is also on the board of Toronto Opera Repertoire, responsible for graphic design.
