Tonia Cianciulli is pleased to be making her debut this season with Toronto Opera Repertoire as Zerlina in Mozarts Don Giovanni. Tonia graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1999 with a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance. She had a number of starring roles while singing with the UWO program, including Dinah in Bernsteins Trouble in Tahiti, and La Ciesca in Puccinis Gianni Schicchi.

Most recently, Tonia performed Mozarts Mass in C Minor (Grand Mass) with the Sarnia Orchestra, Mabel in Gilbert and Sullivans Pirates of Penzance with St. Annes Music & Drama Society, and Antonia in Offenbachs Tales of Hoffmann with Creative Artists Productions. Tonias performances with the Opera Mississauga Chorus include Bizets Carmen, Puccinis Tosca and Mozarts Marriage of Figaro. She also donates her time to performing in various fundraisers and benefits in Toronto.
