Sung Jae Choi began his vocal studies in 1995 in Korea, and won entrance in 1998 as a top student to the music department of Young-Nam University. His involvement in music continued even during his stint in the army, where he conducted the 108 Regiment Church Choir. He has also taught at a music camp for orphans in China. He has sung in Haydns The Creation, Beethovens 9th Symphony, and has performed both Italian arias and German lieder.
