Bass John Allec studied composition at the University of Manitoba School of Music and has been a member of several choirs, including the Coro Giuseppe Verdi and last years TOR chorus. Encouraged by artistic director Giuseppe Macina, John began vocal studies with him last spring, and in October startled his colleagues (and no doubt the ghost of Jenny Lind, who sang there in 1851!) with a solo debut at St. Lawrence Hall, as part of the 2004 Canadian Community Information & Referral Conference.
